Devlog for my new Berzerk‑style shooter made in Clickteam Fusion 2.5+. Movement, shooting, AI, and maze‑based rooms.
Over the last few days, I started working on a small side project: a Berzerk‑style top‑down shooter built in Clickteam Fusion 2.5+ Developer. I wanted something simple, fast, and retro, the kind of project you can jump into without overthinking. Fusion is perfect for that.
The gameplay loop is already fun: enter a room, dodge robots, shoot your way out, and try not to get cornered. Even with simple AI, the chaos builds up quickly, exactly the vibe I was aiming for.
Next steps include adding more room variations, different robot types, and maybe even an “Evil Otto” style enemy to keep the pressure high. It’s a small project, but it’s turning out to be surprisingly enjoyable to build.
